Weini Kelati, Clayton Young Headline 2025 USATF Half Marathon Championship Entries

By Chris Chavez

February 5, 2025

Here's a look at the fields for next month's USATF Half Marathon Championships in Atlanta on Sunday, March 2.

This is the selection event for Team USA at the 2025 World Road Running Championships, which will take place in San Diego in September. The top three will qualify for Worlds. A fourth member of Team USA will be determined by World Ranking.

American record holder Weini Kelati leads the women's field. The event's press release notes that U.S. men's record holder Conner Mantz will not be racing as he prepares for a half marathon in New York. The NYC Half is on March 16th.

With Clayton Young and Leonard Korir racing, that's two of the three members of Team USA's Olympic marathon team from Paris participating.
