PUMA Signs Bowerman Finalist Jasmine Moore to Pro Contract

By Chris Chavez

July 4, 2023

Florida’s Jasmine Moore, the seven-time NCAA champion, has decided to forego the remainder of her NCAA eligibility and signed a pro contract with PUMA. She’s a finalist for the Bowerman Award, track and field’s top honor for a collegiate athlete.

Here’s what you need to know:

– Moore, a junior, has decided to forego the remainder of her NCAA eligibility with the Gators to turn pro. She won all but one of the SEC and NCAA titles in the horizontal jumps since transferring to Florida before the start of the 2022 indoor season. Her 15.12m jump at this year’s NCAA indoor track and field championships set the American record in the triple jump. After being snubbed from the finalist list of last year’s Bowerman Award, Moore was named a finalist for 2023.

– Moore will compete in the long and triple jump at this weekend’s U.S. Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene. She qualified for Team USA in both events at last year’s world championships. She also competed at the Tokyo Olympics.
